CHS PLANT FAIR at YNYSHIR 2022
SUNDAY 29 MAY 2pm-4pm

We are delighted to be in the gardens of Ynyshir restaurant at Eglwys Fach again this year, for another CHS Pop-Up Plant Fair and Tea.

£3 ENTRY INCLUDES TEA & RAFFLE TICKET

CHS Members contribute an amazing selection of plants from their own gardens, so you know that they will suit our local conditions! You are likely to meet the member who grew many of the plants, who can tell you anything you need to know about it.

Tea includes Welshcakes and Barabrith baked by members – and the raffle prize will again be a special plant from Newmans Nursery.

There is ample parking and all entrants may stroll in the spacious grounds. An open-sided marquee and gazebo provides tea with home-baked bara brith and Welshcakes, plus last year – much-needed shade instead of the usually anticipated shelter. Members who contributed plants and homebaking last year had a glorious, sunny afternoon.

Tea , with home-made bara brith and Welshcakes, was served in the Legless Fach bar marquee. Members could spread about the lawns  in comfortable chairs.

Tables laden with plants grown by members were laid out in the gardens. Joy Neal’s Arum Lilies walked off their table in the arms of a few lucky early birds.
